"TONIGHT I WILL SCATTER YOUR ASHES!" - A tribute to Kostas Mannouris

The Nicosia International Festival presents a tribute to playwright Kostas Mannouris, opening with the work “Tonight I will scatter your ashes” on 28 May 2023 at 19:00, in the rehearsal space of the Nicosia Municipal Theatre.
 
The play received the Playwriting Award at the Cyprus Theatre Awards 2015. It is presented as a staged reading, directed by the author himself, with Valentina Sofokleous in the leading role.
 
The tribute also includes staged presentations of the following works by the playwright, all presented at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre:
 
• “While Our house is burning” (Playwriting Award at the Cyprus Theatre Awards 2017), staged reading directed by Despoina Bebedeli, featuring Maria Andreou, Nausica Apostratou and Maria Afxentiou - 28 May 2023, 21:00.
 
• “Flock”, produced by ROI Theatre and directed by Petros Charalambous, featuring Giorgos Anagiotos, Athos Antoniou and Giorgos Evagorou - 29 May 2023, 20:30.
 
• “Passatempo”, directed by Kostas Silvestros, with actor Haris Attonis in the leading role - 30 May 2023, 20:30.
