“… THE ROCK SONG OF OUR TOMORROW”

An artistic event dedicated to Dionysis Savvopoulos will be presented at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre by the Educational Group OLYMPION on Friday, 6 February 2026, at 19:30.
 
It is a unique artistic production honoring one of the most emblematic creators of modern Greek music. The performance, titled "… the rock song of our tomorrow", pays tribute to the work, ideas, and enduring influence of Dionysis Savvopoulos, who marked generations with his lyrics and melodies.
 
The event is part of the cultural and educational initiatives of the Educational Group OLYMPION, which promote the connection between art, youth, and society. Admission is free, offering the wider public the opportunity to participate in an evening of high artistic and emotional value.
 
Through landmark songs, narration, and stage action, the performance highlights the journey of a creator who bridged Greek music with poetry, rock, folk tradition, and contemporary thought, shaping a unique artistic identity.
 
The production features approximately 150 students who bring to life on stage the work and spirit of Savvopoulos through music, song, and theatrical storytelling, adding youthful energy and heartfelt emotion to the evening.
