"WITH NO SETLIST" by Panos Vlachos

Panos Vlahos, actor, singer-songwriter, and one of the most restless creators of his generation, takes to the stage of the Nicosia Municipal Theatre in the framework of the Nicosia International Festival 2025 for a unique performance titled "With no setlist". The show will take place on Tuesday, 2 December 2025, at 20:30.

Panos Vlahos packs his suitcase with songs we have all loved, as well as songs from his newest album "Pligi Empnefsis", in which he collaborates with his musical icons: Giorgos Dalaras, Miltos Paschalidis, Natassa Bofiliou, Fivos Delivorias, and the youngest of the group, Nefeli Fasouli and he presents songs that sketch out today’s ideologies, emotions, and impasses infused with optimism, but also humour.

He is a modern-day storyteller. With zest and energy, he delivers performances brimming with improvisation, music, laughter, and a touch of chaos. All the “luggage” he has carried with him over the years, he lays out on stage with generosity and emotional intensity. His songs form a personal narrative that merges with his frenetic improvisations. The social blends with the personal, and the political with the profoundly human. For him, art is companionship. And this particular “company” is great, and promises connection, emotional uplift, and sparks of creative explosions.

Who is Panos Vlahos?
Panos Vlahos is one of the most successful artists of his generation. He studied at the Department of Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus. He even briefly worked in a shipping company while also engaging in amateur football and theatre. Eventually, acting and music won him over. He therefore, went on to study at the “New Greek Theatre” of Giorgos Armenis and began working as a professional actor. He plays guitar, bouzouki, baglamas, accordion, double bass, and traditional percussion instruments.

He is known for his roles in the television series “Oi Atromitoi”, “Epta thanasimes petheres”, “I zoi tis allis”, “Oi Vasiliades”, and “Min arhizeis ti mourmoura” and more, and in the theatre productions of “Cyrano de Bergerac”, “the Accidental Death of an Anarchist”, “Orestes”, and “The Ecclesiazusae”. He has also worked in the United States, in the play “Mistero Buffo” by Dario Fo, and had a small role in the Netflix series “Selena”. He also gave his first concert in New York, alongside Lauren Wright and Peyton Tucker, with whom he formed a music group, at the Silvana Harlem music venue.
In his free time, he enjoys running and has participated in numerous marathons.
