BICYCLE FILM FESTIVAL – school screenings

The Festival presents the first Bicycle Film Festival, taking place on October 17 and 19, 2025. In collaboration with OPU – Organisation for Positive Urbanism, the festival brings this renowned short film event to Cyprus. Originating in New York and running for 25 years, the Bicycle Film Festival has toured over 100 cities worldwide and attracted more than 1 million spectators.

Throughout the day, three film screenings will take place, all centered around the theme of sustainable mobility. The outdoor area of the theatre and the Municipal Garden will be transformed into a vibrant open-air festival, featuring music, bicycle shops, a kids' bike school, interactive workshops in collaboration with CYENS, as well as food and drinks. At the same time, NGOs will present their work and engage in dialogue with the public.
 On the October 17, there will be school screenings at the Nicosia Municipal Theatre.
